Liturgical

Altar Servers

The Altar Servers play an essential role in supporting the clergy during liturgical celebrations, particularly during the Holy Mass. This group, often made up of children and young adults, is dedicated to assisting with tasks such as carrying the cross, holding the missal, and preparing the altar. Their service enhances the solemnity and smooth execution of the liturgy, ensuring that the sacred rituals are performed with dignity and reverence.

The Altar Servers receive thorough training to understand the significance of the various elements of the Mass and their responsibilities. Through their service, they develop a deeper connection to their faith, a sense of discipline, and a spirit of humility. By fostering respect for the Eucharist and other sacraments, the Altar Servers grow spiritually and gain a unique perspective on the beauty of Catholic worship.

This ministry also serves as a formative experience for young Catholics, instilling a sense of commitment, leadership, and the importance of serving the Church.
