Liturgical

Choir

The St. Cecilia’s Choir, named after the patron saint of music, is dedicated to leading the parish in worship through sacred music. Their mission is to uplift hearts and minds to God by enriching liturgical celebrations with melodious and prayerful singing.

The choir consists of talented individuals committed to musical excellence and reverence. They provide music for the Mass, special feast days, weddings, funerals, and other liturgical events, enhancing the congregation’s worship experience. Members dedicate time to rehearsals and ongoing development, ensuring their repertoire includes traditional hymns, Gregorian chants, and contemporary liturgical music that aligns with Church teachings.

Beyond their musical contributions, the choir fosters a spirit of community among its members, united by their love of music and devotion to God. Their service inspires the faithful to participate fully in the liturgy, creating an atmosphere of prayer and reverence.

The Altar Servers receive thorough training to understand the significance of the various elements of the Mass and their responsibilities. Through their service, they develop a deeper connection to their faith, a sense of discipline, and a spirit of humility. By fostering respect for the Eucharist and other sacraments, the Altar Servers grow spiritually and gain a unique perspective on the beauty of Catholic worship.

This ministry also serves as a formative experience for young Catholics, instilling a sense of commitment, leadership, and the importance of serving the Church.
